Logic Solutions Opens New Office in Dearborn
DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 9 -- The automotive division of Logic
Solutions, Inc., an Ann Arbor-based web development and information technology
applications firm, has opened a new office in the Parklane Towers in
Dearborn's Fairlane Office Park East to better serve its growing list of auto
industry clients. The new office places key Internet technology professionals
in a better position to service Logic's existing Big Three and tier one and
tier two automotive clients. The division's focus is to apply Internet
technology in the automotive industry throughout the supplier chain.
Prasad Gullapalli, General Manager, Logic Automotive Division, explains
the growing demand for the services Logic provides: "Logic's automotive
industry clients are increasingly using Internet-based applications to foster
information sharing and collaboration among their global operations. Specific
types of technology projects currently in demand throughout the industry
include Java business solutions, e-commerce solutions, and ANX/EDI integration
solutions." Other applications Logic has completed for auto industry clients
include Internet-based warranty claims applications that allow accurate
tracking and analysis of customer warranty claims by product; and engineering
"testing shop" applications that provide quick turnaround of the results of
manufacturing process testing operations, as well as allow users of competing
proprietary engineering systems to share previously incompatible information.
"The theme in a lot of our work has been helping employees collaborate
with each other, wherever they are, and ultimately reducing the time to
market. The Internet is proving itself to be a great tool for solving those
kinds of issues, and the automotive industry is taking advantage of it," says
Gullapalli.
