Shepherd & Geller, LLC Announces Filing of Class Action Lawsuit On Behalf of Purchasers of Motorcar Parts & Accessories, Inc. Common Stock
BOCA RATON, Fla.--Aug. 6, 1999--The Law Firm of Shepherd & Geller, LLC announced today that it has filed a class action in Federal Court in New York on behalf of all individuals and institutional investors that purchased MOTORCAR PARTS & ACCESSORIES, INC. common stock between May 22, 1997 and July 30, 1999, inclusive (the "Class Period").The complaint charges that the Company and certain of its officers and directors violated the federal securities laws by concealing significant accounting irregularities and by making numerous false and misleading statements about the Company's revenues, earnings, and business prospects, causing the stock to trade at artificially inflated prices.
