Textron Automotive Names Maclean President of Its Trim DivisionTROY, Mich., Aug. 5 -- Textron Automotive Company, a segment of Textron Inc. , today announced that William Maclean has been named President of its Trim Division. He succeeds and will report to Sam Licavoli, who was promoted to Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Textron Automotive Company in April. Since 1997, Mr. Maclean, 48, has been Executive Vice President, Manufacturing Operations for Textron Automotive's Trim Division. Prior to joining Textron Automotive Company, he held various senior level positions within the automotive supply industry including Tenneco Automotive where he served in its Walker Manufacturing Division as managing director of Walker - Europe in the Netherlands, and its Monroe Division as managing director of Monroe Australia Proprietary LTD in Australia. Mr. Maclean's automotive career started with Eaton Corporation where he served seven years in various disciplines including plant management, labor relations and human resources. "Bill's leadership and depth of experience with both global manufacturing operations and the automotive industry in particular will be a great asset to our Trim Division as it expands globally and continues to introduce innovative, proprietary technologies, products and solutions for our customers worldwide," said Textron Automotive Company Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Sam Licavoli. Mr. Maclean received his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and his master's in Labor Relations from Michigan State University.
