Heatcraft Acquires Livernois Engineering Company
    RICHARDSON, Texas, Aug. 4 -- Heatcraft Inc. announced it has
acquired Livernois Engineering Co. of Dearborn, MI, a well-known manufacturer
of equipment and tooling for production of heat exchangers primarily for the
automotive industry.  The purchase is the result of a three-year working
relationship between both companies.
    "We're excited to be associated with such a well-respected industry name
as Livernois," said Ed French, president and COO of Heatcraft.  "Through this
alliance, Heatcraft will continue to enhance its technological capabilities."
    Livernois provides engineering support, technical design expertise,
brazing technology, prototyping, and pilot production of heat transfer coils
for manufacturing needs worldwide.  The company manufactures high-efficiency,
computer-controlled fin forming mills, tube mills, trayers, and core building
equipment.
    Headquartered in Stone Mountain, GA, Heatcraft Inc. manufactures and
markets heat transfer and refrigeration products throughout the world, through
its Heat Transfer and Refrigeration Products divisions.  Heatcraft is a
subsidiary of Lennox International Inc. .  Based near Dallas, TX,
Lennox International is a global leader in heating, ventilation, air
conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
