Viasystems Nantong Earns ISO 9002 Certification

    ST. LOUIS--Aug. 4, 1999--Viasystems Group, Inc., manufacturers of printed circuit boards and backplane assemblies, announced today that its Value-Added Assemblies & Services facility in Nantong, China, received ISO 9002 certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
    Primarily intended as guidelines for manufacturing companies to effectively manage quality issues, the ISO 9002 certification identifies the Viasystems' Nantong facility as an organization that repeatedly delivers exceptional products that meet customer quality demands.
