Dega Issues Statement
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., Aug. 4 -- Dega Technology, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: DEGA) reports that on Thursday, July 29th, 1999 Judge
Bruce J. Dowds, of the Santa Barbara County Superior Court, denied the
application by Spectre Industries (OTC Bulletin Board: STND) for a writ of
possession on property owned by Dega. Judge Dowds indicated that the actions
taken by Spectre were inappropriate and not proper as filed.
Judge Dowds stated that he had serious reservations about the actions
being in the correct forum and that it was clear much more was at stake than
an attempted simple seizure of assets by Spectre. The judge went on to state
that he found particularly troubling the fact that Spectre's position was
supported primarily by the declaration of a person who previously worked for
Dega but is now an agent of Spectre. Judge Dowds encouraged the parties to
settle the matter out of court.

Dega is at the forefront of applying leading-edge technologies to useful
