Tower Automotive to Build New Technical Center in NoviGRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Aug. 4 -- Tower Automotive Inc. today announced plans to build an 86,000-square-foot technical center in Novi, Mich. The building will be constructed by Talon Development Group, Inc. of Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Construction is expected to be completed by March 2000. The site is located on Haggerty Road, just south of 12 Mile Road. The new facility will be laid out in a unique fashion that will group cross-functional teams together based on customer platforms. This approach will enable Tower Automotive colleagues to better serve customers' needs for additional design, development and project management capabilities on increasingly complex programs, including modules and assemblies.
