Lund International Holdings, Inc. Appoints Edmund J. Schwartz Chief Financial Officer

    ANOKA, Minn., Aug. 3 -- Lund International Holdings, Inc.
announces Mr. Edmund J. Schwartz is appointed Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer of Lund International Holdings, Inc.
    Mr. Schwartz was previously employed by the Electrolux Corporation for
fifteen years where he advanced from Division Controller to Chief Financial
Officer in 1990.  Prior to that, Mr. Schwartz worked in various senior
financial positions with Raybestos including the position of Corporate
Controller.
    Mr. Schwartz earned a Masters of Business Administration from the
University of New Haven in 1982.  He also graduated from the University of
Hartford in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration.  Over
this period, Mr. Schwartz developed into a broad-based financial executive
with strong accounting and strategic planning skills.  His experience will be
a strong compliment to the newly restructured executive group at Lund
International.
    Mr. Ronald Fox who served as Chief Financial Officer since May 1998, is
leaving the company in August.
