Jaguar Accepts Award for Sales Satisfaction
MAHWAH, N.J., Aug. 3 -- In a ceremony at Jaguar headquarters
today, President Mike Dale accepted the award for top ranking in the 1999 J.D.
Power and Associates 1999 Sales Satisfaction Study 2 (SSI2). The study, in
which Jaguar tied with Volvo and Cadillac for first place, ranks overall
customer satisfaction with the new-vehicle sales experience.
"We know how important the sales experience is for our customers," said
Dale, "and this recognition demonstrates that our dealers are creating a
first-class experience that is distinctively Jaguar. On behalf of our
employees and dealers, it is an honor for me to accept this award."
In the 1999 SSI2, Jaguar scored better than average in each of the five
factors rated in the study -- sales presentation, purchase transaction, F & I
process, delivery after sale, and price evaluation. Compared with a year ago,
Jaguar increased its ranking from No. 6 and bettered its scored by four
points.
