TELEFLEX DECLARES DIVIDEND

    PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--August 2, 1999--Teleflex Incorporated announced that its Board of Directors took action to declare a cash dividend of thirteen cents ($0.13) per share of common stock. This dividend is payable September 15, 1999 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 25, 1999.
