Airtech to Debut S-999 in Europe

    DALLAS--Aug. 2, 1999--

Model S-999 is a unique auto air purification system, capable of
delivering up to 180 air changes per hour, removing up to 99% of
    microscopic particles and gases

Airtech International Group, Inc., (OTCBB: AIRG) announced today that it will unveil the Airsopure Model S-999 Auto Air Purification System in Europe. Airtech has been invited by the American Consulate General and the US Foreign Commercial Service and will be exhibiting at the US Pavilion from September 16 through the 26th at the bi-annual International Automobile Association show in Frankfurt, Germany. The Company will attend this show to secure distribution partners for its Model S-999 in Europe. The IAA Trade shows are designed for automobile dealers and after-market wholesale distributors and drew in excess of one million visitors in 1997.
Recently, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) concluded that high levels of diesel soot and unhealthy gases like benzene and formaldehyde accumulate in vehicles. Closing windows or using the air conditioner has minimal effect. The tests concluded that air pollution inside vehicles is 2-10 times worse than outside. Many health experts attribute poor health and low productivity to the quality of BAD AIR. The Airsopure technology incorporates a three-part filtration system that removes microscopic particles, road tar, ragweed, polled, plus hazardous gases such as unburned diesel fumes, CO2 and the threat from (tb) tuberculoses.
Airtech CEO C.J. Comu stated, "The European auto market is exploding at a record pace. People are more receptive to technology and the advent and causes of air pollution is far greater than in the US. Our products may take off with greater success in Europe than the US markets and could be the leading indicator for US companies to embrace it after the validation of the Europeans. Comu added, "It's become common for US manufacturers to go abroad and then come back to its own market after validation from its neighbors across the water".
In addition to the new car market in the United States, which consists of 16,000,000 vehicles, the size of the European market is enormous with in excess of 150,000,000 vehicles. Airtech continues to focus on other markets including; auto dealers, auto wholesale distributors, auto rental companies, auto supply stores, law enforcement and the leisure travel market. Airtech CEO, Comu added, "This is the only product of its kind and the market is recognizing a need for "clean air" similar to that of air conditioning.
Airtech first achieved market recognition with its air purification technology by providing a simple solution that allows smokers and non-smokers to co-exist in restaurants and bars. Its corporate customers include: Denny's, Bennigan's, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouses, Sullivan's, Host Marriott Services and hundreds of other food and beverage related companies. Today, the Company's primary focus is on schools, hotels, office complexes, casinos and medical facilities.
