Federal-Mogul Appoints Robert Claycomb, Operations Manager, Engine Bearings, Powertrain Systems - Americas
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 29 -- Richard Levin, vice president,
manufacturing operations, Powertrain Systems -- Americas, Federal-Mogul
Corporation announces the expanded role of Robert Claycomb to the
position of operations manager, engine bearings, effective immediately.
Claycomb will report to Levin and will have responsibility for engine bearings
operations at the Blacksburg, VA; Greenville, MI; St. Johns, MI; and Puebla,
Mexico, facilities.  In addition to these newly expanded responsibilities,
Claycomb will continue in his role of plant manager at the company's facility
in St. Johns, Michigan.
    Prior to this appointment, Claycomb has held the position of plant manager
with the St. Johns, Michigan, facility since he joined Federal-Mogul in 1982.
Previously, Claycomb held a variety of engineering and management positions
with Massey Ferguson and the Ford Motor Company.
    Claycomb earned a Master of Business Administration degree in management
science from Indiana Northern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in
mechanical engineering from Western Michigan University.
