Rockwell Automation - Dodge / Reliance Awarded 1998 Market Engineering Product Line Strategy Award
    GREENVILLE, S.C., July 28 -- Rockwell Automation --
Dodge/Reliance recently received the 1998 Market Engineering Product Line
Strategy Award for its RELIANCE ELECTRIC(R) line of integral horsepower (IHP)
motors.
    International marketing company Frost & Sullivan presented the award to
RELIANCE ELECTRIC because "they have covered the customer base with a range
and quality of product lines to best suit market and customer needs."  More
than 70 companies participate in the IHP electric motor market.  RELIANCE
ELECTRIC was chosen from a group of national suppliers with broad product
lines that supply two or more product types with a variety of options.
    Frost & Sullivan presents market engineering awards to recognize companies
that have made a positive contribution to the AC IHP motors market.  Winners
are selected from an in-depth analysis of the market competitors, and
interviews with those companies that make up the industry.
