CTS Corporation Names Francis Loo Managing Director, CTS Singapore Pte. Ltd.

    ELKHART, Ind.--July 19, 1999--Francis Loo has been named Managing Director of CTS Singapore Pte. Ltd. according to an announcement by Bing Harding, Group Vice President, CTS Corporation. CTS Singapore, which was established in 1979, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CTS Corporation, a multi-national electronic assemblies designer and manufacturer, headquartered in North America.
    Mr. Loo, who has over 18 years of frequency products experience, will have overall operational responsibility for CTS' Singapore facility, which manufactures crystals, clock oscillators, voltage controlled crystal oscillators, precision crystal oscillators and custom thick film hybrid circuits.
    Loo is a 1981 graduate of The National University of Singapore where he received a B.S. degree in Physics. Upon graduation, he accepted a position as Production Engineer with Hy-Q International, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of frequency control products. He progressed with the company and, in 1983, was named Projects Manager, Engineering. In 1985, he was promoted to Chief Engineer.
    He joined CTS Singapore in 1991 as Operations Manager and, in 1994, was named Business Development Manager. From 1996 until his present promotion, Mr. Loo had assumed the additional responsibilities of both Customer/Product Support Engineering Manager and Sales/Marketing Manager.
    Harding said, "Mr. Loo's broad experience in the frequency marketplace and his crystal technology background will contribute significantly to CTS' worldwide frequency business."
