M2 Collision Care Centers Expands to Van Nuys and Burbank
SANTA MONICA, Calif.--July 20, 1999--M2 Collision Care Centers (M2), a leading operator and consolidator in the automotive collision repair industry, Tuesday announced that it has completed its acquisition of Exclusive Auto Body.With operations in Van Nuys and Burbank, Calif., Exclusive will become an integral part of M2's Los Angeles County platform. Formerly owned by Ed Mohr, the Exclusive Van Nuys operation has been in business for more than 20 years, with the Burbank location in operation since 1997.
Mohr, who has been named senior vice president of Production Development at M2, is responsible for the development of an innovative operating model, which M2 will continue to use in these locations.

In business since 1996, M2 has successful direct repair relationships with most major insurance providers and repairs more than 45,000 cars each year.
With eight Northern California, 16 Southern California, and one Las Vegas location, as well as the Exclusive acquisitions, M2 operates a total of 27 locations, making it the largest independent owner of collision repair facilities in the West.
