CON-WAY Announces New Director of Credit and Collections; Keith W. Burnett Will Head National Account Collections Group
ANN ARBOR, Mich.--July 19, 1999--Keith W. Burnett, a 20-year veteran of the motor carrier industry has joined Con-Way Transportation Services as director of credit and collections. Burnett will be responsible for all aspects of national accounts invoice receivables, including credit decisions, collections, corrections and audits.He will report to John McManama, vice president administrative services, and be stationed at the Con-Way offices in North Richland Hills, Texas.
"Keith will head a group of collections specialists that focus on coordinating invoicing and collection services for Con-Way national accounts," said McManama. "His broad experience in accounting and electronic transaction procedures will bring additional strengths to this group as they support our business relationships with this key set of customers." Burnett held a number of key positions at Yellow Freight System for the last seventeen years. His other industry experience is in customer satisfaction, corporate reengineering and pricing.
Burnett holds a Master of Business degree from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO and a BA degree from William Jewll College in Liberty, MO. He is married and has three children.
