TRACKS: Fans Can Race With Their Favorite Driver on Lebanon Valley Go-Kart Track

WEST LEBANON, NY- You always hear race fans saying how they could beat a 
certain driver in only they had a racecar. On Thursday night, July 29th, 
those fans will get a chance to prove their mettle. Fans will have a chance 
to compete with the favorite driver on the go-cart track at Lebanon Valley 
Speedway. The drivers scheduled to appear include ten time track champion, 
Kenny Tremont, also 1999 feature winner, Ronnie Johnson, plus John Hewitt,  
Dave Leckonby and Donnie Corellis.

	The money raised from this event will go to support the drivers point 
fund. The Lebanon Valley Board of Directors has set a goal of $100,000 for 
the 1999 point fund. Last year the point fund was over $80,000! For twenty 
dollars fans will get to strap into a go-cart and go head to head with some 
of the best-modified drivers in the Northeast. The first race with the 
drivers should get started around 6:00. This should be a lot of fun for all 
those who join in the action. Spectators will be allowed to watch the go-cart 
action for only five dollars. This is just another way that Lebanon Valley 
lets the fans get in on the action. Bring the whole family out for an evening 
a good, clean fun.  

	After you get finished racing your favorite driver you can head over 
to the high banks and catch a great night of racing action as Speed's Garage 
and Dicks Automotive host an action packed night of full-fender frenzy. There 
will be cannonball and team cannonball events as well as Street Stocks, Pure 
Stocks and Rookies. Also on hand will be the IMCA Modifieds. Racing action 
will get under way at 6:15

Racing action takes place every Saturday night with modifieds, sportsman, 
IMCA modifieds, street stocks, pure stocks and rookies. The action starts at 
6:15 every Saturday night. Call the speedway for starting time on the special 
events.

Lebanon Valley Speedway is located 20 minutes east of Albany, NY on US Rt. 20
