CIMLOGIC Toolbox Line Certified for SolidWorks 99

    NASHUA, N.H.--July 16, 1999--Two of the CIMLOGIC(TM) Toolbox series of electromechanical add-ons have passed the SolidWorks(R) 99 Plus Gold Logo certification testing, the highest standard set by SolidWorks for applications developers.
    In order to receive the certification, Toolbox/SE for general mechanical design and Toolbox/MB for mold base design were required to pass testing in five areas: Windows design and user interface, operating systems, integration with SolidWorks, and product quality.

    Design Features

    Toolbox/SE runs entirely inside SolidWorks and comes with advanced hole types, screws, washers, nuts, pins and bolts. Steel sections include angles, channels, I beams, pipes, tees and tubing. Also included are solid threads for bolts and screws; a groove feature for adding snap rings and o-rings; support for SolidWorks cosmetic threads in hardware and hole features; hole note support; and support for holes and hardware in assemblies.
    Toolbox/MB automatically creates complete mold bases as constrained assemblies in SolidWorks through selection of vendor, style, size and plate thickness. Hole features, ejector pins and support pillars, core pins, dowel pins and locating rings are among the many design functions supported by this CIMLOGIC add-on.
