AutoZone Names Senior Vice President, Human ResourcesMEMPHIS, Tenn., July 14 -- AutoZone, Inc. announced Joseph M. Fabiano, 43, has joined the company as senior vice president, human resources pending board approval. Fabiano has served in senior human resources management positions for Northwestern Corporation -- a customer service and solutions company, Tricon -- formerly a division of PepsiCo, and Gruma -- the world's largest corn flour and tortilla manufacturer and distributor. Fabiano reports to John Adams, chairman and CEO. "After an extensive search, we're excited to welcome Joe to the AutoZone team," said John Adams, chairman and CEO. "With his leadership abilities and nearly 20 years of domestic and international experience, we're confident in his ability to take our human resources asset to the next level." AutoZone sells auto and light truck parts, chemicals and accessories through 2,695 AutoZone and Chief stores in 39 states in the U.S. and four AutoZone stores in Mexico. Chief stores are being converted to AutoZone stores. AutoZone also sells heavy-duty truck parts through 43 TruckPro stores in 14 states, and automotive diagnostic and repair software through ALLDATA.
