SDRC Receives $1.6M Contract from Dana Corporation -- Dana's Spicer Light Axle Group Selects I-DEAS Software as Core Technology Platform

    CINCINNATI--July 13, 1999--SDRC , a leading global supplier of enterprise product development solutions and developer of I-DEAS(R) and Metaphase(R) Enterprise(TM) software, today announced that the Spicer Light Axle Group of Dana Corporation , has selected SDRC's I-DEAS software as its core technology platform. The contract for software and related services is valued at $1.6 million.
    Spicer Light Axle is one of the world's largest independent axle manufacturers. They are standardizing on I-DEAS for the development of axles used by Ford Motor Company -a major customer-in its sport utility vehicles, passenger cars, and light trucks. Their selection of I-DEAS was based on requirements to consolidate platforms, streamline overall product development, and establish a closer alignment with OEM vehicle requirements.
