Productivity Improvement of Dana's GemStone Gasket Operation Recognized by HondaDANVILLE, Ky., July 12 -- The GemStone Gasket Company, a joint venture between Dana Corporation's Victor Reinz division and the Ishino Gasket Manufacturing Company of Japan, was awarded Honda's 1998 Productivity Improvement Award. The award was presented by Honda to recognize GemStone Gasket Company for "continuous dedication toward the achievement of productivity improvement." GemStone Gasket Company was formed in 1989 to supply Japanese automakers with complete sealing systems for their vehicles produced in North American produced vehicles. GemStone supplies Honda with cylinder head, intake, and exhaust manifold gaskets, as well as and other secondary sealing products used on Honda platforms including both the Honda Civic and Accord.
