Russel Metals Changes Its NASDAQ Ticker Symbol To RUSM

    TORONTO--July 12, 1999--Russel Metals Inc.(TSE:RUS.) (WINNIPEG STOCK EXCHANGE:RUS.)(TSE:RUS.PR.C.) (WINNIPEG STOCK EXCHANGE:RUS.PR.C.) Russel Metals Inc. today announced that effective at the opening of the market on July 13, 1999, the Company's stock trading symbol on NASDAQ will change from RUSMF to RUSM.
