CTS Corporation Announces Multi-Year DIP Switch Private Label Agreement
ELKHART, Ind.--July 9, 1999--CTS Corporation's Electrocomponents business has entered into a three-year DIP switch branding agreement with a major supplier to the global electronics marketplace. CTS will manufacture and private label all of the customer's auto-insertable and surface mount DIP switch requirements. The switches will be labeled with the customer's brand name and marketed through the customer's own global sales channels.Philip L. Jackson, Vice President and General Manager of CTS Electrocomponents, commented, "We are very pleased to have signed an agreement with this key global company. Their confidence in our quality and product offerings is demonstrated by labeling of the CTS product, with their brand name. Together, we expect to achieve an appreciable increase in total DIP switch market share and an increase in CTS' DIP switch sales with an upside potential of $15 million during the three years."
CTS Electrocomponents produces a full line of DIP switch products including SPST, SPDT, DPST, DPDT, 4PST, Through-Hole, Surface Mount, Half Pitch, Top Actuated and Side Actuated styles for communications and computer applications worldwide. CTS Electrocomponents also provides variable resistors, trimmers, encoders, loudspeakers, heat sinks and Contract Electromechanical Manufacturing Services from facilities in Mexico and China.
