Ducati Motor is Not in Talks with Harley DavidsonBOLOGNA, Italy, July 8 -- With reference to press stories of an interest by Harley Davidson, Inc. to acquire Ducati Motor Holding SpA (NYSE: DMH; Borsa Italiana) Federico Minoli, Chairman and CEO of Ducati declared: "Neither Ducati nor its principal shareholder TPG have had any contacts with Harley Davidson concerning a possible acquisition of an interest in Ducati." Ducati has won seven of the last nine World Superbike Championship titles and more individual victories than the competition put together.
