Randall J. Weisenburger Elected to CTS Corporation Board of Directors

    ELKHART, Ind.--July 7, 1999--CTS Corporation announced today that Randall J. Weisenburger, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Omnicom Group, Inc., has joined the CTS Board of Directors.
    Omnicom Group, Inc. is the leading provider of marketing communications and advertising services in the world.
    Prior to joining the Omnicom Group, Mr. Weisenburger was a founding member of the Wasserstein Perella Group, where he most recently held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Wasserstein Perella Management Partners, Inc., the Group's private equity investing subsidiary.
    In announcing Weisenburger's election to the CTS Corporation Board of Directors, Joseph P. Walker, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of CTS, commented: "Randy Weisenburger is the third outside director, with extensive major company experience, added to the CTS Board since last year. Mr. Weisenburger's background in operating management, as well as acquisitions and financings, will further enhance our Board's ability to oversee management's timely execution of business decisions intended to maximize shareholder value." Mr. Weisenburger holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business (1987) and a B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting from Virginia Tech (1980).
