Porsche Reports June U.S. Sales; Year-to-Date Sales Increase by Twenty-Five PercentATLANTA, July 7 -- Porsche Cars North America, importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced sales and stock figures for the month of June 1999. The decrease in sales compared to the same period last year is due to a shortage of stock resulting from the increased sales volumes reported for April and May. Sales of 911 coupes are down 42 percent year to date, as a result of increased demand for 911 Cabriolets, which have seen a 312 percent increase over the same period. Overall, sales for the year are up 25 percent.
