Doolan to Join Ford Motor Company

    DEARBORN, Mich., July 7 -- Effective July 17, Victor Doolan
will join Ford Motor Company as executive director, North America,
Marketing and Distribution Strategy, Premier Automotive Group.  He will report
to Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle, group vice president, Premier Automotive Group.
    The Premier Automotive Group is charged with developing strategies to
leverage the unique strengths of Ford Motor Company's Aston Martin, Jaguar,
Lincoln and Volvo brands, as well as to grow Ford's luxury car business
worldwide.
    Doolan was most recently president, BMW, North America.
