TTC Expands Customer Commitment With Extended Hot Line Hours and Additions to Field Service TeamFARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., July 7 -- Transmission Technologies Corporation (TTC) is providing increased customer support with an aggressive expansion of its field service team and customer service hot line availability. Effective immediately, the toll free service line (800-401-9866) will be manned from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., EDT, while ten full-time customer service specialists are being added to the field team. "All the benefits of our advanced technology and manufacturing processes won't reach those who need it most -- the people who service, specify, and use our transmissions," says Lee Davis, TTC's vice president, and general manager, "unless they can get the support they need, when they need it. "That's why TTC has continued to make customer service our number one priority. We're making it even easier for customers to get the product, technical service, or warranty assistance they need right away -- over the phone -- or personally from a field service representative." TTC is adding ten specialists to its field service staff, Jeff Roberts has joined the organization as Regional Manager for the Carolinas, Virginia, and West Virginia. Three new representatives will be available locally to train fleets, dealers, distributors, and drivers on transmission use, diagnosis, and repair. They include John Harris in the Eastern Region, Doug Fisher in the Central Region, and Rob Sheppard in the Western Region. In addition, Michelle Martinez will provide concentrated attention to warranty administration. All will report to Joe Pizzuto, sales manager, medium- and heavy-duty transmissions. An entirely new aftermarket group has been created to service the independent distributor/OES channels. Paul Mooney will support the North Central Region, Bruce Hyland for the Southeast Region, and Paul Woscyna for the Northeast Region. Two more positions will be filled to cover the Western and South Central regions. Chuck Engelbrecht, TTC's director parts sales and marketing will oversee this activity. "Customer service has always been a priority at TTC," says Davis. "This expansion shows that we are now providing a maximum commitment to our customers." TTC designs, develops, manufactures, and markets transmissions for a wide variety of vehicles from high-performance passenger cars and light-duty trucks, to medium-duty and Class 8 commercial trucks. Transmissions include Spicer heavy-duty, Spicer medium-duty, and TREMEC light-duty transmissions. TTC is part of the Unik group; one of Mexico's largest auto parts suppliers.
