International Fuel Technology Announces California Air Resources Board Issues Executive Order

LAS VEGAS--July 7, 1999--International Fuel Technology Inc. ("IFT") (OTC BB:IFUE) will announce Wednesday at a special shareholders' meeting that it has received Executive Order No. D-485-1 issued by the State of California Air Resources Board ("CARB") covering IFT's PEERDIESEL(R) Fuel Processor.
IFT's PEERDIESEL(R) (Performance Enhanced Emissions Reduced), reprocessed, cleaner-burning No. 2 diesel fuel, has been tested for more than two years at California Environmental Engineering ("CEE"). CEE is the only recognized independent mobile emissions laboratory in Southern California that is both U.S. EPA-recognized and CARB-certified.
International Fuel Technology has submitted all the required information and fulfilled requirements for this exemption. Furthermore, this Executive Order is granted based on emission testing of four engines measured using the 13-mode steady-state engine dynamometer test as specified in SAE J1003.
This is a critical testing event required to obtain PEERDIESEL(R) diploma certification from CARB.
Las Vegas-based International Fuel Technology is currently traded on the OTC BB under the symbol IFUE. For more information on International Fuel Technology, call 702/873-5552 or visit its Web site at www.peerfuel.com.
