Casey Atwood's NASCAR Victory Further Establishes Worldwide Entertainment & Sports' Motorsports Division

    WEST ORANGE, N.J.--July 8, 1999--Worldwide Entertainment & Sports Corp. announced that Brewco Motorsports' driver Casey Atwood became the youngest NASCAR Busch Series race winner with his victory in the DieHard 250 Sunday at The Milwaukee Mile. Worldwide's Motorsports division has a representation agreement with the Brewco Motorsports NASCAR racing team and recently procured a multi-million dollar primary sponsorship agreement with Castrol North America, Inc.
    The Company's Motorsports division engages in signing marketing contracts with race teams, racecar drivers and potential motorsports sponsors. The Company generates corporate sponsorships for race teams competing in the different circuits and acquires corporate endorsements for drivers. In addition, the Company has developed licensing programs to sell merchandise bearing the name and likeness of race teams and drivers.

    Atwood took the checkered flag in dramatic fashion after passing Jeff Green on the final lap of the event. The 18-year-old driver grabbed his sixth top-10 finish and first Bud Pole of the season after setting the track record in qualifying on Saturday. The victory moved Atwood back into the top-10 in driver point standings. The driver of the No. 27 Castrol GTX Chevrolet has raced in 30 events in his series career, accumulating a total of three Bud Poles, five top-5 finishes and seven top-10s.
