MSC.Software Completes Acquisition of MARC Analysis
LOS ANGELES--July 6, 1999--MSC.Software Corp. (MSC) , the world's leading developer of simulation software, Tuesday reported that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of MARC Analysis Research Corp. (MARC).The operations of MARC, a developer of nonlinear software tools for manufacturing and design simulation, have been combined with the Mechanical Solutions division of MSC, and a restructuring charge will be taken in the second quarter.
