Cars.com Celebrates Summer By Awarding Car Leases
         New Sweepstakes Drives Consumers to Vie for Hot Summer Cars

    CHICAGO, July 1 -- The mercury is rising outside and so is
the excitement among car lovers everywhere as cars.com announces "The Cars of
Summer" Sweepstakes.  Beginning June 30 and running throughout the month of
July, sweepstakes entrants will be eligible to win one of two grand prizes.
Each grand prize winner will be awarded a one-year lease on their favorite
Summer Car of choice.
    Consumers can enter the national Sweepstakes by logging onto the cars.com
Web site at http://www.cars.com or by mailing in their entry(1).  Winners of the Cars
of Summer Sweepstakes will be revealed on the cars.com Web site in mid-August.
    "Cars.com is combining the best aspects of summer: fun, sun and cars, to
offer one of the hottest sweepstakes available online," said Mitch Golub,
general manager of cars.com.  "The cars.com focus is not only on educating
consumers on their car purchases, but also making the site entertaining and

summer car of their dreams is one way of achieving this."
