Federal-Mogul Announces the Organizational Structure for the Visibility Group
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 1 -- Frank Tomes, executive vice
president, General Products, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces
the organizational structure for the Visibility Group, effective immediately:
* James T. Boyd, director, lighting operations, North America
* William F. Buchman, vice president, OE sales and marketing, lighting
products
* Rene Dalleur, managing director, wiper products, Europe and South
Africa
* Robert N. Faulhaber, director, wiper operations, North America
* Richard A. Kurt, director, human resources
* Mario Machado, general manager, lighting and wipers, Brazil
* Terry Ressler, director, OE sales and marketing, wiper products, North
America
* Joe Stephan, director, aftermarket marketing, North America
* Barry Whipple, division controller
All positions will report directly to Terry Graessle, vice president,
visibility group, General Products, with the exception of Rene Dalleur, who
will continue to report directly to Kevin Baird in Europe.

James T. Boyd, Director, Lighting Operations, North America
James T. Boyd is appointed director, lighting operations, North America.
Prior to this appointment, Boyd held the position of director, operations,
lighting products and prior to that, vice president, operations, lighting
products, Cooper Automotive. Boyd spent over 30 years with Cooper and held
positions in operations including plant manager, Boyertown, Pennsylvania,
having been promoted from manufacturing manager. Prior to this, Boyd held
positions including director of distribution, manager special projects and
director of materials.
Boyd earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt
University, Nashville, Tennessee, and a Bachelor of Science degree from South
East Missouri State University.
William (Bill) F. Buchman, Vice President, OE Sales and Marketing,
Lighting Products
Bill Buchman is appointed vice president, OE sales and marketing, lighting
products.
Prior to this position, Buchman held the position of vice president, sales
and marketing, lighting products, and prior to that position was director of
sales, lighting products, Cooper Automotive. Before joining Cooper, Buchman
built up extensive experience in a variety of sales and engineering positions
with Park and the Electric Division of General Motors.
Buchman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Youngstown State
University, Youngstown, Ohio.
Rene Dalleur, Director, Managing Director, Wiper Products, Europe and
South Africa
Rene Dalleur continues as managing director, wiper products, Europe and
South Africa.
Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Dalleur served as special projects
director, general manager Belgium operations and European logistics for Cooper
Automotive - Europe. Before this, he served as general plant manager,
Aubange. Dalleur joined Cooper Automotive in 1988 as plant manager in the
Aubange facility. He began his career in the aviation and aerospace industry
working on engineering, purchasing and program management assignments at F.N.
Herstal in Belgium.
Dalleur earned a degree in mechanical engineering and management from the
University of Louvain, Belgium.
Robert N. Faulhaber, Director, Wiper Operations, North America
Robert Faulhaber has been appointed director, wiper operations, North
America.
Prior to this appointment, Faulhaber held the position of director, wiper
operations, North America, Sealing Systems. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul,
Faulhaber worked with Cooper Automotive since 1979, having served as plant
manager, Sparta, Tennessee, and manager, Advance and Mini.
Faulhaber earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Kean College, located
in New Jersey.
Richard (Rick) A. Kurt, Director, Human Resources
Rick Kurt has been appointed director, human resources, visibility group.
Prior to this appointment, Kurt held the position of director, human
resources, lighting products, prior to that he was director of human
resources, North American operations, lighting products, Cooper Automotive.
Kurt established himself in employee relations with such positions as director
of employee relations and manager, employee relations. Kurt held a number of
plant human resource positions within Cooper Industries Inc. before moving to
Cooper Automotive.
Kurt earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University.
Mario Machado, General Manager, Lighting and Wipers, Brazil
Mario Machado has been appointed general manager, lighting and wipers,
Brazil.
Prior to this appointment Machado held the position of general manager,
Federal-Mogul do Brazil. Machado joined Federal-Mogul from Cooper Automotive,
which he joined in January 1998 having previously been managing director of
Lucas do Brazil - Lighting. He has been general manager of Kostal Mercosur
and held several senior positions with Allied Signal do Brazil.
Terry Ressler, Director, OE Sales and Marketing, Wiper Products, North
America
Terry Ressler has been appointed director, OE sales and marketing, wiper
products, North America.
Prior to this appointment Ressler held the position of director, OE sales
and marketing, wiper products, Sealing Systems. Ressler joined Wagner Brake
and Lighting in 1986. He has held a variety of positions with increasing
responsibility within the sales and marketing areas of the former Cooper
Automotive organization.
Ressler earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Duquesue
University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science degree from
Indiana University.
Joe Stephan, Director, Aftermarket Marketing, North America
Joe Stephan has been appointed director, aftermarket marketing, North
America.
Prior to this appointment, Stephan held the position of director,
marketing, visibility products, lighting products.
Barry Whipple, Division Controller
Barry Whipple has been appointed division controller, visibility group.
Prior to this appointment, Whipple held the position of director, finance,
lighting products. Whipple held the position of director, business analyst
and international treasury, Cooper Automotive, having been promoted from
manager, business analyst and international treasury and previously,
operations analyst (corporate office). Prior to moving to corporate
responsibilities, Whipple held the position of manager, business analysis and
planning with Wagner Lighting Division and also held the position of plant
controller.
Whipple earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of
Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Bloomsbury
University of Pennsylvania.
