Bullhide's Licensed Dealer Completes Industrial Applications Contracts for Synthetic Industries
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--July 1, 1999--The Bullhide Liner Corporation (OTC BB:BULH) announced today that its licensed dealer, Bullhide Liner Systems, Inc., located in Dalton, Georgia, completed three contracts for Synthetic Industries , the second largest carpet backing manufacturer in the United States, behind BP Amoco .The first contract at the Chickamauga, Georgia plant, entailed spraying the entire outside and roof of a utility building, which houses electronic components. Quarra 2000 created a waterproof exterior to the building, to protect against water seepage through the roof and sidewalls during heavy rainfalls. Synthetic Industries took advantage of the chemical resistant properties of Quarra 2000 in its second contract with Bullhide Liner Systems, by using it as a flooring material on portions of the concrete floors and walls of the main offices in the plant. Extrusion lines, located outside of these offices, produce a water and chemical lube mixture as a by-product of the yarn manufacturing process. This mixture collects in bins which, on occasion, overflow, causing the mixture to seep onto the concrete floors in the offices. The chemical nature of the mixture is such that it corroded the concrete, necessitating the application of Quara 2000. Finally, Bullhide Liner Systems used Quarra 2000 to seal new duct work which had recently been completed throughout the plant.
"These contracts, which involved applying Quarra 2000 as a waterproof, roofing material, a chemical resistant, waterproof, flooring material, and a duct work sealant, demonstrate the versatility of the product and the application process," stated Mr. Chris Calahan, President of Bullhide Liner Systems, Inc.
