William J. Kaska Elected Executive Vice President CTS Corporation
ELKHART, Ind.--June 29, 1999--The CTS Corporation Board of Directors elected William J. Kaska, Executive Vice President CTS Corporation, according to an announcement by Joseph P. Walker, CTS Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.Mr. Kaska will lead CTS' automotive, resistive, interconnect, frequency and electromechanical businesses on a worldwide basis. Kaska will now be responsible for developing the strategies, technologies and products necessary for CTS' growth, on an international basis, for all CTS businesses with the exception of the wireless components.
Commenting on Kaska's promotion, Walker said: "Bill Kaska's diverse management experience and broad manufacturing background makes him an excellent choice for CTS Executive Vice President."
Mr. Kaska served as Vice President and General Manager of CTS Corporation's automotive electronic position sensor and actuator manufacturing facilities from 1992 until being named Group Vice President in 1997. Prior to joining CTS, in 1990, he was President of Orbital Engine Company. Earlier, he held senior management positions with Brunswick Corporation, United Technologies and Ford Motor Company.
Kaska is a graduate of West Virginia University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has also completed Advanced Management Programs at Brunswick and United Technologies.
Mr. Kaska and his wife Pattie reside in Elkhart.
