Philip G. Semprevio Elected Executive Vice President CTS Corporation

    ELKHART, Ind.--June 29, 1999--The CTS Corporation Board of Directors elected Philip G. Semprevio, Executive Vice President CTS Corporation, according to an announcement by Joseph P. Walker, CTS Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Semprevio will be responsible for CTS' worldwide wireless components business, which was acquired from Motorola, Inc. In December 1998, Semprevio was named Group Vice President for the CTS wireless components operations.
    In announcing the promotion, Walker stated: "Phil Semprevio has operational responsibility for those CTS products serving the fastest growing market segments in the Corporation. We have confidence in Phil's abilities to successfully grow the wireless business."
    Mr. Semprevio is a 1977 graduate of the Ohio Institute of Technology where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.
    Semprevio worked for CTS Corporation's Electrocomponents business as Vice President and General Manager from 1990-1994. In 1994, he accepted the position of President, Justrite Manufacturing Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, where he remained until 1998 when he rejoined CTS Corporation. Prior to 1990, Mr. Semprevio was Vice President and General Manager for Federal Signal Corporation.
    Mr. Semprevio and his wife, Rose Ann, reside in Barrington, Illinois.
