General Motors Delivers Additional Target Vehicle to AimRite Holdings Corporation
SAN DIEGO--June 29, 1999--AimRite Holdings Corporation is pleased to announce the arrival of another project vehicle from General Motors . A COAST(tm) suspension control system will be installed on this vehicle (which is a different model from the one previously received) at its new consolidated facility in San Diego, CA. Due to the limited number of systems available in Phase II production, AimRite previously approved the installation of COAST on this GM vehicle.General Motors is interested in evaluating the benefits of the COAST system on a variety of vehicles, which indicates the versatility of COAST in the automotive market. AimRite is also building production COAST suspension control systems that will be installed on other Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) vehicles. These production systems will cover a full range of automotive, truck, bus & RV original equipment and after-market applications.
AimRite has taken possession of its new facility, which will be fully operational by the end of July. This expanded facility will consolidate corporate offices with the company's development operations. In addition, the facility will; 1) accommodate vehicles that are being provided by OEM manufacturers for installation of COAST systems, 2) be used for OEM and after-market production, with room for future expansion, and 3) provide space for additional staffing to strategically prepare for the anticipated rapid growth of the company. The facility is an excellent choice because it not only meets AimRite's current needs but also allows for future expansion.
COAST (Computer Optimized Adaptive Suspension Technology) is a revolutionary suspension control system that uses Variable Constant Force(tm) to achieve unparalleled ride luxury, safety, and performance for virtually all automotive, truck, bus and RV applications. COAST accomplishes all this by eliminating conventional shocks and anti-sway bars and replacing them with simple, but patented and powerful hydraulic suspension control units. The units incorporate extremely powerful and sophisticated patented software to make precision adjustments at each wheel 400 times per second. The result is an electronically controlled suspension system that can optimally control up to nine dynamic areas of suspension performance; including roll, pitch, body motions, wheel motions and bottoming/topping out. AimRite believes that COAST is the most powerful and flexible suspension control system ever developed. And with little or no direct competition, COAST will be sought after well into the next millennium.
