Toyota Announces Promotion of Jim Bolte, General Manager of Information Systems

    ERLANGER, Ky., June 28 -- Toyota Motor Manufacturing North
America, Inc. (TMMNA) recently promoted Jim Bolte to General Manager of the
Information Systems department.  TMMNA is located outside of Cincinnati in
Erlanger, Ky., and serves as Toyota's headquarters for all of the company's
North American manufacturing operations.
    Bolte was formerly Assistant General Manager of the Information Systems
department at TMMNA.  He joined Toyota in 1987 at Toyota Motor Manufacturing,
Kentucky, Inc. in Georgetown.  In his new position, Bolte is responsible for
managing the Information Systems department.
    Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Bolte earned his bachelor's degree
from Eastern Kentucky University.  He currently lives in Lexington, Kentucky,
with his wife and three children.
    Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America, Inc. is the headquarters and
parent company of Toyota's wholly owned manufacturing companies in the United
States and Canada.  Those companies include: Toyota Motor Manufacturing,
Kentucky, in Georgetown, Kentucky; Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, near
