Pontiac, GMC Join Motorplex Team As Official Sponsors

Ennis, TX --- The Texas Motorplex is pleased to announce the addition of
Pontiac as "The Official Car of the Texas Motorplex " and GMC as "The
Official Truck of the Texas Motorplex."  The agreement continues a
longstanding relationship between GMC as the Texas Motorplex as Official
Truck and introduces a new car manufacturer as Official Car.

" We are excited to have two of the most recognizable and popular automobile
manufacturers as our official vehicles. Our fans are very loyal and we are
confident they will become Pontiac and GMC customers. The Texas Motorplex
has long been known as the premier drag racing facility in the country and
we feel we have teamed up with the premier car manufacturer and truck
manufacturer in America," said Ryan Haas, Texas Motorplex general manager

As part of the multi-year agreement Pontiac and GMC will have displays at
select Texas Motorplex events including the upcoming 14th annual NHRA
O'Reilly FallNationals, October 21-24, 1999, as well as ticket incentive
programs for customers and dealers. GMC trucks will be visible on the
starting line during all Texas Motorplex events as they will be utilized by
the Texas Motorplex track crew and safety safari.
