F-3000: Magny-Cours, France

26 June 1999

Brazilian drivers had a difficult race at the 4th round of the
International F-3000 Championship in Magny-Cours, France.

Bruno Junqueira started on pole but was taken out of the race by a
kamikase move from Jason Watt at the Adelaide Hairpin.

Max Wilson, started 6th and was 3rd when the car started to get some
failures, he lost gears and took the car to the garage.

Mario Haberfeld, despite being Nick Heidfeld's team mate, hasnt found
his pace in the championship yet and abandoned when he was 16th.

Enrique Bernoldi is a very talented young driver but has a lot to learn
in his career. Made a show and was the first to chance from rain tyres
to slick when the track was drying out.

Nick Heidfeld, from McLaren Jr, won the race and leads the championship
with 30 points, against 18 from Gonzalo Rodriguez.

Next round will be July 10th in Silverstone.
