National RV Expands Automation Efforts

    PERRIS, Calif., June 25 -- National R. V., Inc., a division
of National R.V. Holdings, Inc. and a manufacturer of high-quality
motor homes and fifth wheel travel trailers, has expanded its use of
technology and automation.  Within the last two years, National R. V. , Inc.
has augmented its production facilities in Perris, CA. to improve efficiency,
provide a safer work environment and increase production capabilities.
    Recently,  National R. V., Inc. added a 14' by 45' custom made CNC router
to its list of equipment.  The tool enables the creation of more precise
sidewall openings while also providing for faster manufacturing speeds and
waste reduction.  This machine also creates a safer, more efficient work
environment than was possible with traditional hand-routing techniques.
    National R. V., Inc. has also added a second thermal forming machine based
on the success and usage of the unit currently in operation.  This machine
molds ABS "Centrex" sheeting to create high quality parts for interior and
exterior use throughout the Class "A" and travel trailer product lines.  This
equipment will be employed to manufacture parts that were previously made of
fiberglass.  Use of this technology is consistent with National R. V., Inc.'s
policy to use environmentally-friendly materials in the manufacturing of its
products.
    Due to the performance of these and other automated equipment,
National R. V., Inc. has been able to tool and produce many parts in-house
rather than relying on outside suppliers.  National R. V., Inc. continues to
reinforce its objective of operating as a manufacturing facility rather than
functioning principally as an assembly plant.
    National R.V. is a division of National R.V. Holdings .  The
Company designs, manufactures and markets Class "A" motor homes and
fifth-wheel travel trailers under brand names including Dolphin, Sea Breeze,
Tropi-Cal, Tradewinds, Surf Side and Sea View.
