Hankook Tire Co., Ltd. To Supply 2000 MY Ford Focus

    NEW YORK--(AutomotiveWire)--June 25, 1999--Hankook Tire Co., Ltd. has announced that Ford Motor Company has selected Hankook to supply the new 2000 model year Ford Focus.
    This application is for North American vehicles produces at Ford's Wayne Assembly Plant in Wayne, Mich., and represents Hankook's first supply of original equipment tires to Ford. The tire is an S300 design high-pressure radial spare - the latest in spare tire design and construction from Hankook.
