Ford Credit Completes Global Landmark Securities RoadshowDEARBORN, Mich., June 23 -- Ford Credit yesterday completed its Global Landmark Securities (GlobLS) roadshow. The three continent roadshow included over 250 investors in 25 cities in Europe, Asia and the United States. Demand for meetings with the company resulted in a two-day extension of the roadshow. Global Landmark Securities will be denominated in U.S. dollars. Ford Credit intends to issue GlobLS two to four times per year, no more than once per quarter and with a minimum of six weeks between offerings. Each GlobLS offering will be at least $3 billion in total size, comprised of one or more tranches. Fixed rate tranches will be at least $2 billion in size and floating rate tranches will be at least $1 billion. Based on the strong investor reception to its enhanced debt issuance philosophy, Ford Credit expects to launch its inaugural GlobLS transaction in the third quarter, most probably in July. Bear Stearns (Global Coordinator), Merrill Lynch and Salomon Smith Barney will act as joint bookrunning managers for the initial transaction. Ford Credit is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company and is the world's largest automotive finance company. Ford Credit provides vehicle financing in 36 countries to more than eight million customers.
