National R.V. Holdings, Inc. Introduces New Corporate Logo
PERRIS, Calif., June 22 -- National R.V. Holdings, Inc.
, a leading manufacturer of Class "A" recreational vehicles and
fifth-wheel travel trailers, introduces today a new corporate logo that helps
to capture and communicate the Company's identity.
Formed in late 1996 through the combination of National R.V. (located in
Perris) and Country Coach (located in Junction City, OR.), the present day
Company designs, markets and produces motorhomes that enable and encourage
individuals to participate in a leisure time lifestyle.
In commenting on the rationale behind developing the new logo, Wayne
Mertes, the President and Chief Executive Officer of National R.V. Holdings,
Inc., stated, "Corporate communication takes many forms. Naturally, the
principal means people use to evaluate us is through their exposure to our
product itself. However, we believed it was essential to develop a fresh and
dynamic trademark to help us further convey the perception of our corporate
values."
Also, according to Mike Taylor, Corporate Design Manager, "We wanted to
create an identity system and corporate mark that tells our constituents that
we are a vigorous, profitable and modern enterprise. With this idea in mind,
we created specially designed italicized letter forms that symbolize both
strength and solidity. Additionally, the inclusion of the stylized star
provides subtle secondary imagery of the name 'National.' It's who we are."
In order to ensure that the Company's corporate image is carefully and
consistently expressed, standards are being developed to apply the logo to all
products in addition to all internal and external communications.
