T.J.T., Inc. Expands Business With New Product Distribution Agreement
EMMETT, Idaho--June 21, 1999--T.J.T., Inc. , a supplier of refurbished axles and tires to the manufactured housing industry, said today that the company is expanding its product distribution activities.The company, under an agreement effective May 1, 1999, will distribute a complete line of water filtration products manufactured by ESBINCO, Inc.
"Our focus will be on distributing ESBINCO's quality products to our existing customers in the manufactured housing industry at the factory level as well as in the retail after-market," said Terrence Sheldon, president and chief executive officer of T.J.T. ESBINCO manufactures a complete line of water filtration products that range from use on sink faucets only to products that provide water filtration for the entire home.
"We believe that there is a great deal of opportunity in this market," Sheldon said. "There is a growing consumer demand for water filtration products in both site built and manufactured homes. And, T.J.T.'s long standing relationship with the manufactured housing industry provides an established distribution channel."
Sheldon said that ESBINCO distributes its products domestically to the building wholesale trades and the alliance with T.J.T. marks the firm's entry into the manufactured housing segment.
Established in 1977, T.J.T. is a major provider of recycled axles and inspected tires to the manufactured housing industry. It operates recycling facilities in Idaho, Washington, northern California, Oregon and Colorado and serves customers in 11 Western states. In addition to effectively recycling these serviceable steel and rubber products, the company also sells aftermarket accessories to the manufactured housing industry and vinyl siding to the housing industry. T.J.T. has 10 consecutive years of profitability while growing with the expanding manufactured housing industry. For its fiscal year ended September 30, 1998, the company had revenue of $34.1 million.
