Autoline Detroit Airs Live From Eyes on the ClassicsDETROIT, June 18 -- This Fathers Day, Autoline Detroit airs its first live broadcast. The program will originate from the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores where the 12th annual Eyes on Design Exhibition is held. Joining host John McElroy on the program are Wayne Cherry, Vice President of Design for General Motors, J Mays Vice President of Design for Ford Motor Company and John Herlitz, Senior Vice President of Design for DaimlerChrysler. Host John McElroy is looking forward to the unique opportunity presented by the Eyes on Design Exhibition, "This is the first time top design executives from these companies have gotten together to talk candidly on television ... we're very excited to have the opportunity to bring them to the Detroit Public Television audience." This live edition of Autoline Detroit airs Sunday, June 20, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Detroit Public Television. Eyes on Design is a weekend long charity event established for the benefit of the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology. Weekend events culminate in an elegant Sunday morning champagne brunch and Design Exhibition honoring the Great American Convertible.
