GKN Announces Key Management Additions: Dickerson and Cole Provide Strategic Direction to GKN Automotive Driveline Division
    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 16 -- Tom Stone, chief executive
officer of GKN Automotive, Inc. (GKN AI) recently announced two key management
leaders naming Steve Dickerson, vice president of industrial engineering and
program management and Karen Cole, vice president of human resources.
    "These individuals strengthen our product line and customer service," said
Stone.  "We're excited about incorporating their knowledge and experience into
our management teams."

    Steve Dickerson, vice president of industrial engineering and program
management
    Dickerson held director of operations positions at both ITT Brake Systems
and General Motors Corporations before joining GKN AI.  He managed plants for
ITT in North Carolina and Virginia, and has experience in operational and
strategic positions.  Dickerson earned a bachelor of science degree in
mechanical engineering from Kettering University and a master's degree in
business from Harvard University.

    Karen Cole, vice president of human resources
    Cole recently worked as the director of human resources for Real 3D, Inc.
in Orlando, Fla.  Prior to that, Cole worked as the human resource manager
(engineering) at Lockheed Martin, also in Orlando.  She also worked for the
General Electric Company in Fairfield, Conn.  Cole earned a bachelor of
science degree in business management from Old Dominion University.
