Delphi Names Financial Integration DirectorTROY, Mich., June 15 -- Dana Fidler has been named Director, Financial Integration for Delphi Automotive Systems , effective June 1, 1999. The announcement was made today by Paul Free, Delphi's chief accounting officer and controller. As director of financial integration, Fidler will be responsible for driving common processes through Delphi's financial organization as well as sourcing business processes. "One of the most exciting challenges of our separation from General Motors is the opportunity that independence provides to establish critical headquarters functions from the ground up. Starting with a clean sheet of paper gives us a rare chance to bring in people like Dana to help us build the framework of a world-class financial staff," said Free. Fidler joins Delphi from Rubbermaid Inc., where he was Director, Financial Services of their U.S. based accounting service center. Prior to that, he was with Martin Marietta and General Electric where he held financial positions at several of their businesses throughout the U.S. Fidler received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Fidler and his family have been active in the Wooster, Ohio area Boy Scouts, the United Methodist Church of Wooster, Wooster High School Band Parents Organization, and as a host family for a College of Wooster International Student. The family will be relocating next month to the Rochester, MI, area.
