Orsi Wins 7th Round of So. American F-3

14 June 1999

Posadas - Brazilian driver Hoover Orsi is the man to beat in Sudam F-3.
For the seventh time in 7 races the brazilian finished on the podium and
clinched his 3rd win of this season.

Orsi had a good start, while Leonardo Nienkotter had a bad start and Tom
Stefani jumped to second place. The only driver to use the 1998 chassis
(all other race 1994 chassis) was slower on the straight, but as the
straight in Posadas is very short, Leonardo had no chance to overtake
Tom.

With this result, Orsi has now 117 points, against 87 from Rodrigo
Sperafico that finished 4th.
