Mitra Named Director of Fulfillment Services at Navigation TechnologiesCHICAGO, June 14 -- Navigation Technologies, the premier developer of route guidance map databases for North America and Europe, today announced the appointment of Mono Mitra as Director, Fulfillment Services. He will report to Andrew Donchak, Vice President of Marketing. "Mono's broad-based experience in customer support and product distribution in high-tech industries will help Navigation Technologies continue to maintain its global leadership in providing consumers and dealers with superior order delivery and service satisfaction," Donchak said. In Europe and North America, Mitra will oversee order management functions for original equipment manufacturers, consumer call centers located in the Netherlands and Fargo, ND, and distribution and logistics services. Prior to joining Navigation Technologies, Mitra played a key role in launching the startup of CONXUS, a $56 million dollar wireless personal communications services company. As Vice President, Mitra created and executed a national customer support call center that included key related functions, such as technology deployment, business processes, and resource development. Before that, he held senior positions at MCI Accounts Program in the Western region of the United States and was responsible for worldwide customer satisfaction. Previously, Mitra supervised the successful start up of an integrated office solutions business at Wang Laboratories, and served nearly a decade at AT&T as a sales manager on major accounts. Mitra holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco, a Master's of Science from the University of Calcutta, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of London.
